Villa 31 slum residents disrupt traffic in Retiro

A group of residents from the Villa 31 slum blocked traffic on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Antártida Avenue and Ramos Mejía road in Retiro neighbourhood causing delays in the area.

The group was protesting against electricity being cut off to the shanty town.

As a result, the entry and exit of vehicles at the long-distance bus terminal experienced several delays

Federal Police officers diverted traffic down Ramón Castillo and Comodoro Py roads in a bid to regulate traffic flow.
