Flights delayed at Aeroparque, Ezeiza due to Air Traffic Control protest

Flights were backed up at Aeroparque today, due to a union protest.
Delays and cancellations were being experienced on domestic and international flights today at Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport and Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, due to a union protest led by air traffic controllers, a measure that started at the beginning of the week.
Sources from the Association for Aeronautical Technician staff (APTA) told the BuenosAiresHerald.com that the delays were significant and that the computer system had completely collapsed.
The delays were affecting all domestic airlines as well as some international airlines.
