Jamaica’s Consul in Buenos Aires Enrique Banuchi was robbed along with his wife and their two sons when burglars entered his home located in La Horqueta neighborhood in Northern Greater Buenos Aires district of San Isidro.
Banuchi told reporters that robbers, “crossed us a car when we were arriving at home, got off their car pointing guns at us and forced us to let them in the house», and added, «they were wearing masks.»
Likewise, the diplomatic assured that thieves “hit us, grabbed my wife by the hair and locked us all in the bathroom and trashed down the place after we gave them all we had, and showed them that there was nothing in the safe, it was empty.”

To end, Banuchi remarked that his sons are all minors and were “in a state of shock” after what they went through.
Thieves left with money, a watch, computers, among other valuable objects.
