A building site collapsed in the city neighbourhood Caballito this morning. Six workmen were rescued after having been trapped in the rubble, and fire fighters were working with police at the scene in order to search for any other possible victims.
The incident occurred this morning on the corner of Emilio Mitre and Directorio Avenue.
Seven ambulances were at the scene, while the whole area was closed off.
The workmen injured in the collapse were taken to local hospitals Duran and Piñeiro.
Federal Police and Civic Defence officers were working at the scene to determine the causes of the collapse.
