The Teamsters’ union led by Pablo Moyano has threatened with nationalizing the current strike held by fuel-tankers drivers, as workers keep their claims against Dapsa Fuel Distribution Company.
In a communiqué released today, the union informed that “Since the lack of interest showed by the company, the workers’ assembly is evaluating to take the strike to a national level.”
The union also explained that the measure was taken as afar as 80 percent of Dapsa workers arte not legally registered, plus their wages are way below what agreed in last collective bargaining talks.
Dapsa’s plants are located in Southern Greater Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Dock Sud, and Campana in Buenos Aires province.
