The intervention into TBA trains began on February 28 and was supposed to last for 15 days. Today the Government announced a further 15-day extention on the intervention.
The Government extended again their intervention into the TBA trains -which runs the Sarmiento and Mitre lines- for a further fifteen days, in the ongoing investigation into what caused the Once train crash which killed 51 people. The intervention was first opened on February 28.
According to resolution 781/12, published in the Official Gazette, the measure will be carried out for 15 days “with the end of assuring the continuity and regularity of the public service, assuring the security of passengers.”
“The court investigation into the causes of the crash is still in process, being run by the federal criminal courts, led by Judge Claudio Bonadío. Up to today, the judicial investigation has not yet been completed, waiting on determining the causes of the crash, which need to be looked at again,” the resolution said.
