In his first commitment as YPF»s president, Galuccio adressed over 200 employees at the Comodoro Rivadavia plant.
Newly appointed YPF General Manager Miguel Galuccio hosted his first official meeting as the recently nationalized YPF Oil Company president and promised to come out with a strategic plan to increase the group’s productivity.
In his first commitment as YPF’s president, Galuccio adressed over 200 employees at the Comodoro Rivadavia plant.
“Within the next hundred days a strategic plan for the company will be ready,” Galuccio announced as he explained it will serve as a framework for the company for the next five years.
The new CEO rejoiced the fact that his first official commitment as the head of YPF was celebrated at the Patagonian locality where oil was first found in Argentina ninety years ago.
“YPF was born here and, twenty years ago, so was my carrier. You can only imagine how proud I am and what this means to me,” he said.
“We want an YPF nationally-oriented, competitive, modern, capable of giving out good results to its stakeholders, a leader in the energy industry development,” Galuccio pointed out.
Galuccio was named the new head of the company on Friday evening by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in a ceremony held at the Government House.
