Moyano on possibility of general strike: ‘all options are on the table’

CGT labour confederation leader Hugo Moyano.
CGT labour confederation leader Hugo Moyano once again repeated that he doesn’t rule out calling a general strike because, as the Government continues to ignore their claims, workers “are reaching the limit of their patience.”
“The CGT’s patience has no limits. But the workers’ claim does,” he said. When asked about a potential general strike, he said “all options are on the table.”
Moyano talked to the press after arriving at the inauguration ceremony of the Argentine Railway Federation, to be led by his close ally Omar Marturano.
His warning comes after Moyano once again questioned the Government’s lack of response to the unions’ claims, who ask for a hike in the income tax floor and the universal child allowance.
Moyano has warned lately about an alleged “change in the Government’s policies” and said that the Fernández de Kirchner administration has “lost its way.”
