The football national teams of Argentina, Brazil and Netherlands escalated in the FIFA ranking published on Wednesday. It is still headed by Spain, current champion of Europe and the World.
Argentina, coached by Alejandro Sabella, returned to the “Top Ten” after being left out of it last month. The “Albiceleste” team passed from the eleventh to the eighth place.
Brazil’s national team reached the fifth place from the seventh after England and Portugal fell to the sixth and seventh place, respectively.
Netherlands reached the second place at the ranking FIFA after its victory over England by 3-2 at the friendly held on Wembley on February 29.
The victory of Netherlands and Germany’s loss before France by 2-1, left the German team in the third place.
Spain, which defeated Venezuela 5-0 at the friendly match, keeps leading the list, while Uruguay, holder of the Copa América cup, remains at the fourth place.
