London clubs after Walter Samuel’s services

Internazionale defender Walter Samuel has put Premier League London clubs Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hostpur on red alert following his refusal to sign a new contract at San Siro.
The 33-year old Argentine centre-back’s current deal at Inter runs out in June. However, Samuel’s possible suitors will have to meet his wage demands of 608,400 pesos a week.
Samuel is open to move abroad anywhere but his agent has revealed London is his preferred destination.
Player’s agent Barry O’Connor said, “Ideally Walter would like to come to London but he will listen to all offers.”
With Samuel making clear his desire to move to the capital the news could spark a three-way fight for the former Real Madrid, Roma AS, Boca Juniors and Newell’s Old Boys.
Samuel has won 56 international caps and was part of Inter’s treble winning side under José Mourinho in 2010.
