Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio Macri congratulated the SAME emergency medical assistance service, Metropolitan Police and Civil Defence for their effective work in the Once train crash. “What we really need is a deep analysis to understand why these things happen,” he said.
When he was asked about the government’s petition to act as lead plaintiff in the case, Macri assured that it is too early to talk about this particular issue.
The Mayor continued the press conference by sending his condolences to the victims’ families, “all the Argentines accompany you,” he added, and affirmed that it was a “tremendous tragedy.”
