Boca Juniors ready for Copa Libertadores debut

After a two-year absence, Boca Juniors are ready to make their Copa Libertadores de América debut tonight against Deportivo Zamora in Barinas, Venezuala. Uruguayan centre-forward Santiago Silva will be making his first stellar appearance with the «Xeneizes.»

Boca, six-time champion of the Copa Libertadores de América played last time in 2009 and was eliminated in second round by Defensor Sporting of Uruguay.
The Argentine side landed yesterday in the city of Barinas, located 500 kilometers from Caracas, after an almost 12-hour journey.
The charter flight that carried Argentina’s current champions made a stop in Caracas and also a technical stop in Manaus, Brazil, for refueling.
