Independiente’s forward Facundo Parra has unveiled his prospective move from Argentina’s powerhouse to 2011 Copa Sudamericana champions Universidad de Chile.
Following a series of impressive performances throughout 2011, The Chilean side have lost Eduardo Vargas, who moved to Napoli; Marcos González who got transferred to Flamengo, and most recently lost striker Gustavo Canales to Chinese side Dalian Aerbin.
Speculation has surrounded the Independiente striker who has been touted as a potential replacement for Canales.
Asked about a possible move to the neighbouring country during an interview with Cooperativa AM Radio, Parra said: “Right now I’m going out to meet with my agent, but I’m still not quite sure how things are. The offer is interesting, but as long as my agent doesn’t tell me anything I cannot get ahead of myself.”
