The Cabinet Chief of the Buenos Aires province government, Alberto Pérez, confirmed that Governor Daniel Scioli will be meeting with CGT labour confederation leader Hugo Moyano in order to plan out the unionist’s future in the Justicialist party. Moyano has tendered his resignation to the party both in the province and the national chapters.
While speaking on a radio interview, Pérez assured that, after Moyano’s decision, Scioli and he “have arranged to meet with each other in order to make a decision on this matter.
“Scioli said that, on a national level, Néstor Kirchner’s party includes a wide array of representatives from all sectors working in this political project, so it would be important for Moyano to stay in the party. Of course they will be having a meeting,” he stated.
A few days ago, the media reported rumours that Moyano was allegedly meeting with Scioli in order to formally resign to his post in the Justicialist Party, a decision he made last December 15th.
