Prigent’s widower admits to being near crime scene

While testifying before court, widower Daniel Sfeir pleaded innocent once more after being accused of murdering his wife, Silvia Prigent, although he admitted for the first time that he was at the same time and place in the area close to where his wife was found dead.
“All I want to say is that I drove María Cristina Soria there. I was in the area because I was driving her there, but I have nothing to do with this,” Sfeir said on Monday after admitting that he was having a relationship with whom investigators believe is her lover.
A judge will define whether he will remain in protective custody or not.
