Acting President Amado Boudou called unionists and companies to be “rational in order to protect the growth,” referring to the upcoming wage talks that will be held this year.
The vice-president spoke to the press about the next wage talks of which the unions and the companies have already brought forward their intentions of salary raise.
“Not so little, not so much,” he answered when he was asked about the percentage of the wage hike and by this he avoided giving the figures of the salaries’ recomposition for 2012 that the government preferred.
“We have to be as rational as possible when we debate this, we believe that both parts will negotiate rationally,” Boudou said during a press conference at the Government House.
