As tensions between unionists and the Government continue, Buenos Aires province Deputy Governor Gabriel Mariotto blasted the head of the CGT labour confederation Hugo Moyano after he said he was not happy with Governor Scioli’s decision to join City Mayor Mauricio Macri in a football match in Mar del Plata.
Mariotto said that there are a few differences between him and Scioli, but he assured he has no problems with him.
“He liked to go on TV and share a lunch with (popular TV host) Mirtha Legrand, and we don’t. But he used to do that before he delved into politics,” the Kirchnerite assured.
Mariotto explained that he did not agree with Scioli’s decision to join Macri in a football game.
“I didn’t like it. But he’s got every right to be a part of it. It’s just not my style,” Mariotto said.
He then blasted CGT leader Hugo Moyano, in a moment in which his relationship with the Government is not the ideal one.
“No one’s ego is going to stop the Government’s model,” he warned. “No one should feel irreplaceable,” he added.
He concluded, however, by saying he “respects” Moyano’s career.
