Manchester City will not listen to loan offers for their controversial former captain, Carlos Tévez, after Italian powerhouse AC Milan expressed their interest in adding the Argentine striker to their roster.
The Italian champions have submitted a loan offer to Manchester City, but Mancini has echoed the club’s view that they will only listen to permanent transfer offers for the forward.
“Tévez would be a great leap for Milan, he is a striker who makes the difference, but Milan know what the conditions are. You cannot give away a player like Tévez for free.”
The Argentine has not featured for the Premier League leaders since reputedly refusing to come off the bench against Bayern München in September, and has been widely linked with a move to Milano since.
