Main suspect in La Plata murders undergoes psychiatric tests

Osvaldo Martínez, the only suspect arrested for the quadruple murder of four women in La Plata last weekend, was today sent to undergo psychological and psychiatric tests in connection with the crime, to a specialist investigation centre in La Plata, officials confirmed.
Alvaro Garganta, the public prosecutor in charge of the case, stated that the tests would begin today during the day, while also stating that next week the definitive results of the victims’ bodies and of possible murder weapons, will come through.

The murders were committed last Sunday morning in a house along road 28 in La Plata, where Marisol Pereyra (35), Bárbara Santos (29), her mother Susana de Barttole (63) and her daughter Micaela Yamilla Galle were beaten and stabbed to death.
