Shop owners block off Corrientes, Florida intersection for sixth day

Florida street shop owners were protesting for the sixth working day, against street vendors along the famous downtown shopping street.
Shop owners from Florida street stores downtown were blocking off its intersection with Corrientes Avenue for the sixth working day, protesting against the presence of street peddlers in front of their stores.

Their demands remained the same that they wanted to have the streets freed, to clear them of problems of insecurity and economic losses.

Héctor López, head of the Friends of Florida Street Association, stated that today at midday a meeting is expected to take place between the city government and the store owners to try to find a solution to the conflict.
