Coach Asad jumps off San Lorenzo’s sinking ship

San Lorenzo’s coach Omar Asad resigned as head coach of the first team after yesterday’s 1-0 loss against newly promoted Unión. It was the seventh loss of the season, which triggered the rage of fans as the team entered relegation zone.
Asad’s resignation was immediately accepted by the members of the clubs’ board, who are already sorting names to replace the outgoing coach.
During his stay, Asad, a former powerful centre-forward, could only manage to obtain 4 victories, 5 draws, and 9 losses with 13 goals scored and 20 against.
With only 15 points in same number of games, San Lorenzo, considered as one of the five big clubs in Argentina, show little to escape the promotion-relagation playoff zone.
