CGT praises new subsidy cuts

The CGT labour confederation praised the government’s decision to cut subsidies to large companies and high income households.

“The State’s help is not justified in these cases,” according to a communiqué released by organization and stated that the government still has to face “the situations that have not been solved yet, like the income tax minimum floor and the universal family subsidy for every worker.”

The CGT added that “both rights have been cut 10 and 11 years ago by the neoliberal policies that crushed Argentina. Nowadays, they still are pending issues for the national and popular model.”
