An appeals court accepted the release request presented by five men convicted of covering up María Marta García Belsunce’s death.
Horacio García Belsunce, Guillermo Bártoli and John Hurtig will be released on bail on Wednesday or Thursday. Juan Ramón Gauvry Gordon and Sergio Binello will be released on parole.
Previously, a court sentenced the five of them to terms ranging from 3 to five years in prison for the covering-up of the murder of sociologist María Marta García Belsunce, who was shot six times in the head in her home in a gated community in the Greater Buenos Aires area of Pilar in October 27th, 2002.
