Trade surplus in October reaches $1.27 billion dollars, CFK announces

Argentina’s trade surplus reached 1.27 billion dollars in October, a 30 percent increase when compared to October of 2010, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced.

The Head of State also praised that, even though trade surplus in 2011 was expected to reach 8.5 billion dollars, by October it has already reached 9.37 billion.

The President provided this information while she was giving a press conference to announce the creation of a Biometrical Identification Programme, aimed at expanding security among the population.

Fernández de Kirchner was joined by Security Minister Julio Alak, Security Minister Nilda Garré and Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo.
