Victory Front lawmaker Carlos Kunkel considered that “there will not be any major changes in President Fernández de Kirchner’s cabinet” and suggested that Planning Minister Julio De Vido and Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno would remain in their posts.
“Any matters related to Cabinet changes will be dealt with carefully, because there’s no specific official that needs to be replaced. There are cases in which a functionary just decides to move to a different position,” he explained.
The Kirchnerite lawmaker acknowledged that “some of them are exhausted and will move to another office,” and although he avoided going into specifics, he considered that both De Vido and Moreno will remain in their posts. “I think they will remain there, that’s my opinion,” he explained.
At the same time, Labour Minister Carlos Tomada assured that the National Government’s future “is something that has to be decided by the President, and it’s up to her to choose.”
“I’m an activist in this project since day one, and I’m going to do whatever the President says,” he concluded.
