Education Minister, Alberto Sileoni, officially confirmed that the 2012 school year will have 190 days and that classes will start on February 27 in some districts.
During the event, the minister remarked that “We [government] are building a one way path in which the goal at the end of the road is to put the education as the first priority of the public policies”, and added, “We are responding to the people as it constantly ask us for strengthen the education system.”
