Presidential candidate Eduardo Duhalde harshly criticized the head of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo foundation, Hebe de Bonafini, and assured that “she’s the mother of violence,” referring to her last week’s statements.
“Hebe de Bonafini is hiding with the Mothers,” Duhalde continued. He said that he “never” talked with the foundation, but “I did talk with Bonafini, and I’m think she’s the worse.”
“She has stopped being the mother, now she is the mother of a thief, the mother of violence in Argentina,” the ex President affirmed.
Duhalde also questioned President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s theory that she is invincible in the October elections after having a strong support in the primaries, and mentioned that “the government is worried.”
“Not everything is said, I believe that we’ll see the definition of the election in the previous week. Now we are seriously playing the match, and I think that there will be surprises,” he continued.
