Two of the most traditional soccer teams of the world battle each other today in the Brazilian northern city of Belem in a much anticipated Latin American classic.
In stake is the Nicolás Leoz Cup and the “revenge” for two week´s ago tie in a scoreless match in Cordoba, Argentina that left Argentines and Brazilian craving for more.
The soccer match is scheduled to start at 9h50 pm at Pará state Olympic State. Over 40 thousand people are expected to attend the Latin American classic.
The referee is Uruguayan Jorge Larrionda. In today’s game the two teams could face each other on penalties if the match remains scoreless after the regular game time.
