Congressional candidate Graciela Ocaña, who is running for national deputy for the Union for Social Development (UDESO) party, harshly criticized the national Government’s delay in sending the Swiss Justice reports on the head of the CGT Labour Confederation, Hugo Moyano, in a case of alleged money laundering.
Likewise, the former health minister said that the Foreign Ministry “is more like a thugs’ hide-out than a ministry.”
Furthermore, Ocaña remarked that “The Foreign Ministry still does not answer a warrant for the Swiss Justice that was sent in February. They [Foreign Ministry] say they need some newspaper articles and know why Covelia Company and the Moyano family are being investigated; all things that doesn’t fall into the jurisdiction of the Foreign Justice or Argentine Justice.”
Thus, the former minister said “all this delay makes the Ministry look more like a thugs’ hide-out than a Ministry that must exercise international affairs.”
