‘Tax revenue increased 35.4,%’ Gov’t announces

Tax revenue increased 34.5 percent in August, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchenr announced while heading a dinner with union leaders, businessmen and politicians to commemorate Industry Day and the reopening of science and technology fair Tecnópolis.

The Head of State praised UIA Argentine Industrial Union head José Ignacio De Mendiguren’s speech and said it “wasn’t corporative, but had a collective and national viewpoint.”

“The exchange rate’s volatility shouldn’t imply the death of certain sectors. We all have to work together to attend each sectors’ needs and problems and solve them collectively. We must industrialize the rural sector,” Fernández de Kirchner stated.

The President also stressed that «there are no more similar interests than those of businessmen and workers, despite what we have been told. Investment requires confidence, and that is what this government aims to inspire in investers.»
