Buenos Aires Governor Daniel Scioli defended the celebration of the primary elections to be held on August 14 in the midst of criticisms and requests presented by his rivals in the province to suspend them.
“I believe in the primaries because they will organize all the candidates in the different categories,” Scioli assured during a rally at the Villa Luján neighbourhood in Quilmes district along with his candidate for Deputy-Governor Gabriel Mariotto and the current Mayor of the locality, Francisco “Barba” Gutiérrez.
The Governor remembered that his first steps in politics had been given in a primary election and assured that “I’ve given all the subjects that the Peronism requires.”
