De Pedro accuses judge Bonadio of slandering the President

Secretary General to the Presidency Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro has accused judge Claudio Bonadio of slandering President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

“The continuous media presence of the judge demonstrates that, far from administrating justice, as would be appropriate, his only intention is to slander the President and his family,” De Pedro said in a press release.

The judge appeared earlier today on a Radio Mitre show, speaking about the Hotesur case and describing what he called “irregularities” in the case, saying “the President” made a call to Río Gallegos to intervene in a raid.

The Secretary General to the Presidency described Bonadio’s statements as “malicious”.

“Bonadio says President Fernández made a call, but it was the President of Hotesur SA who made that specific call the judge mentions,” he said.
