Shopping center sales go up 12.7% in June, says INDEC

According to the INDEC statistics bureau, shopping center sales have increased 12.7 percent in June compared to the same month of 2014, while supermarket sales have grown 6.6% in the same period.
Shopping centers earned 3.669 billion pesos in June 2015 and supermarkets earned 18.160 billion pesos, INDEC reported today.
Comparing June sales with the previous month, shopping centers registered an increase of 5.9% but supermarket sales registered a drop of 1.4%.
The increase in shopping sales was boosted by furniture sales, pharmacy products, sporting clothes and foods courts. Meanwhile, the increase in supermarket sales was boosted by clothing, beverages, cleaning products and dairy products.
