Federal Cassation Court today suspended the reading of the verdict on the constitutionality of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Argentina and Iran to jointly investigate the 1994 AMIA terrorist attack.
The decision was made by justices Luis Maria Cabral, Juan Carlos Gemignani and Ana María Figueroa, even though the verdict reading had been scheduled for noon today.
The Cassation Court must decide whether to declare the memorandum constitutional or to ratify its unconstitutionality previously ruled by the city Federal Court.
Casación debe resolver si declara la constitucionalidad del memorándum o ratifica la inconstitucionalidad dictada por la Cámara federal porteña.
