US dollar higher at 9.07 pesos; ‘blue’ down to 13.02 pesos

After a six-session hike, the so called «blue» dollar dropped six cents to close at 13.02 pesos in underground foreign exchange houses, ámbito.com reported.

Earlier in the trading session it had fallen to 12.96 pesos.

Controls continued today morning. Meanwhile, the US currency climbed half a cent to end at 9.07 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices. This way, the gap between the official and the parallel rate stands at 43.5 percent.
