The US dollar closed half a cent at 9.045 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices. Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar ended five cents higher at 12.65 pesos in the black market.
In addition, the blue chip swap rate increased four cents to 11.74 pesos and the stock exchange rate jumped 12 cents to 11.81 pesos.
In the meantime, the Central Bank (BCRA) bought today 60 million dollars. It has bought 340 million dollars since June 1st. Also today, the AFIP tax bureau accumulated 17 million dollars through the dollars for savings scheme.
