‘Blue’ dollar falls two cents to 12.64 pesos, official stable

The US dollar closed unchanged at 9.02 pesos in banks and foreign exchange agencies of the city while the «blue» parallel rate dropped two cents to 12.64 pesos in underground houses, according to ambito.com.

Having ended trading level, the official currency broke a run of 14 straight sessions of rises, in line with the Central Bank policy of allowing micro-devaluations of half a cent daily through strict controls on market trading.

The bluechip dollar rose two cents to 11.69 pesos, while the stock market rate also climbed, up three cents to 11.51 pesos.

The Central Bank yesterday added 10 million dollars to its international reserves coming from exporters dollars sales.
