Following the short break marked by the Memory Day holiday, the “blue” dollar dropped one cent to close at 12.81 pesos in the informal market.
The «blue» traded two cents higher at 12.84 pesos earlier in the trading session though, following last week’s 14-cent drop.
Meanwhile, the official rate of the American currency traded half a cent higher to close at 8.815 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
The blue chip swap rate traded four cents up at 12.01 pesos and the stock exchange dollar increased one cent to 12.10 pesos.
Today, the Central Bank bought 30 millon dollars. On Friday, the so called credit card dollar closed at 11.894 pesos while the savings dollar ended at 10.572 pesos in a week marked by an increase of Central Bank international reserves which reached 31,431 billion dollars.
