‘Not a single element to support the appeal’

Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández rejected prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita’s appeal to Judge Daniel Rafeca’s decision to dismiss late Alberto Nisman’s AMIA attack cover-up complaint. “There is not a single element to support (the appeal),” Fernández stated.
The chief of ministers described Pollicita’s appeal as “too light” and expressed his confidence that it will be rejected by the Criminal Federal Court. “It is completely insufficient, the appeal is too light,” he said to reporters on his arrival at the government house earlier today.
Fernández pointed out that Nisman had not managed to produce any substancial evidence after having investigated the alleged cover-up for two years.
