New stage of Now 12 pro-consumption plan to start next week

Starting next week, the government-brokered Ahora 12 (Now 12) plan will be launching a second stage including this time more stores and products consumers will be able to buy in up to 12 interest-free credit card installments.
In a statement released today, the economy ministry confirmed the program – launched last year to boost consumption -, will be adding more products and brands, having already reached 9.1 billion pesos, taking sales higher by 13 percent.
“Only in the week N° 23, 291,805 operations (accounting for) 518 million pesos were registered, which shows weekly sales continue to increase due to a domestic market that continues to be strong,” the office run by minister Axel Kicillof said.
The plan goes from Thursdays to Sundays and in this new stage it will include books, mattresses, school supplies and under-prescription glasses.
