Tax revenue grows 31.3% in February

Argentina’s tax revenue has reached 106,558 million pesos in February, registering a year-to-year growth of 31.3 percent, AFIP tax agency reported today.

In a press conference delivered this afternoon, the AFIP chief Ricardo Echegaray admitted incomes from exports suffered «a significant setback and one of the worst performances.»
Finance Secretary Juan Carlos Pezoa underlined the growth of the tax revenue in February is the result of an «improvement of the economic activity.»
