Randazzo denies asset growth, questions ‘vulture funds’ report

Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo has said the so-called “vulture funds”, which denounced him for alleged illegal asset growth, are “delinquents”, and questioned the validity of the report released by the hedge funds.

“I am not afraid of them. I will not be threatened,” Randazzo told reporters in a news conference held at the Government’s House.

The Victory Front (FPV) official stated he does not have any bank accounts abroad, adding he has been paying the income tax for 22 years.

“I feel flattered to be criticized by vulture funds because they are delinquents. I have nothing to hide and there has been no asset growth. I’m being attacked because I am a candidate for the presidency,” Randazzo said.

Today, the American Task Force Argentina, the lobby group that works for holdout investors of the Argentine national debt, released a document questioning government official’s asset growth.

“That document is shameful and unprofessional,” Randazzo replied.
