Although an ankle fracture still keeps her away from the government house, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner continues with her official duties at the Olivos presidential residency.
The head of state will be meeting separately today with Justice Minister Julio Alak, head of the Victory Front (FpV) Lower House bloc Julián Domínguez and Secretary General to the Presidency Aníbal Fernábdez.
Ms. Kirchner is expected to discuss with Domínguez this year’s opening of the Congress ordinary sessions. The president has a visit scheduled to China for the first days of next month and a key trade agreement with the Asian giant has not yet been signed into law.
