Over 100 thousand ‘ricoteros’ take Mendoza

Almost a year after his last appearance in the province, Carlos “El Indio” Solari and his band, the “Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado” (Air-conditioning fundamentalists), played a massive gig in Mendoza.

Over 100 thousand fans were able to see and hear the former singer of Argentine iconic rock band “Patricio Rey y Los Redonditos de Ricorta”, who prepared a mixed setlist for the concert, choosing songs from both his solo career and the Redonditos era.

The show started just minutes after 9.30 pm with the single «A los pájaros que cantan sobre la selva de Internet», from his last album «Pajaritos Bravos, Muchachitos», released in 2013.

Then, the Indio performed classics such as “El Pogo del Payaso Asesino» from «Ultimo bondi a finisterre» and «Una piba con la remera de Greenpeace» from «Momo Sampler», both “Redondos” records.

«Nadie es perfecto» and «Ñam fri frufi fali fru» followed, as well as «Juguetes Perdidos». To close, as usual, the Indio chose the mythical «Ji ji ji», which drove the thousands of fans to make “the world’s biggest pogo.”
