Members of the opposition faction of the General Workers’ Confederation (CGT), as well as various transport unions, have postponed planned industrial action over changes in the income tax floor until March 2015.
The Brotherhood train drivers’ chief Omar Maturano confirmed that a strike previously convened for Thursday would not go ahead as the unionist left a meeting convened at the offices of the CGT Azopardo, headed by teamster Hugo Moyano.
«The strike has been pushed back to next March,» Maturano told reporters as he left 802 Azopardo street.
