After an unchanged opening, the US dollar closed half a cent up at 8.535 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
The informal rate of the US currency fell three cents to 13.35 pesos, following a 12-cent drop on Friday.
Meanwhile, the blue-chip swap rate was one cent down at 11.97 pesos, and the stock exchange rate fell 15 cents to 11.86 pesos.
