The informal rate of the US currency rose 10 cents to 13.48 pesos in undergound foreign exchange houses, having spent much of the day lower before recovering ground late in trading.
On Friday, the so called «blue» dollar closed down at 12.12 pesos, after reaching a 12.85 pesos-mark earlier.
Meanwhile, the US dollar traded unchanged at 8.525 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
The blue-chip swap rate fell back nine cents to 12.03 pesos while the stock exchange rate dropped four cents to 12.28 pesos.
