Gov’t defends anti-hoarding law against ‘shameless liers’

Ahead of Congressional approval of the Anti-Hoarding law, cabinet chief Jorge Capitanich defended the bill in his daily press briefing saying it “seeks to protect small and medium-sized businesses, and consumers.” He harshly criticised “those who lie shamelessly” by arguing it would deter investments.
“Clearly, this law seeks to protect small and medium-seized businesses, and consumers,” the chief of ministers stated. He slammed “concentrated economic and media groups that distort, shamelessly lie and create a wrong interpretation” of the bill.
The Victory Front aims at passing the Anti-Hoarding bill this afternoon at Congress Lower House, including a Supply Law reform, the creation of a consumers forum and a price-watch center.
