The US dollar traded steady and closed at 8.42 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
Meanwhile, the informal rate traded unchanged at 14.25, after closing five cents higher yesterday, pushed by the blue-chip swap rate, that hit a new record mark at 13.32 pesos.
The blue-chip today dropped seven cents at 13.25 pesos and the stock exchange rate jumped one cent at 13.41 pesos in the meantime.
The Central Bank bought US$30 million while the total amount of transactions today reached US$129 million.
