After falling 15 cents earlier, the «blue» dollar bounced back to rise 15 cents and traded at 14.20 pesos, after last week’s record highs.
Meanwhile, the US dollar closed unchanged at 8.42 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices. Low market activity was evident throughout trading due to the US Labour Day holiday.
The gap between the official rate and the “blue” dollar reached 68%.
The stock exchange rate remained unchanged at 13 pesos.
